Interim City Manager Scott Kipp and Councilperson Andy French represented the City of Albion today on the Amtrak Legislator’s Train from Battle Creek to Chicago. The trip was an opportunity to meet and network with Amtrak and MDOT officials while experiencing the high speed rail service at speeds up to 110 miles per hour. Kipp and French took the opportunity to meet with both Amtrak and MDOT officials and discuss opportunities and future projects in Albion associated with the rail line.
